What We Found Out: Around 60% of people do not think that Cranston is prepared to handle natural disasters.

"RIPTA is great for getting to downtown Providence but not access across Cranston. RIPTA needs to adopt a grid model instead of a hub and spoke model so people can get across the city. There should be bike lanes across the city to make biking safer. Sidewalks need to be repaired to make walking safer. Sidewalks need to be plowed in winter to make walking safer for kids going to school and adults. There should be a bike share program in Cranston."

What We Want To Do About It: Our residents have come up with many ideas. Implementing more recycling around the city, organize community activities in existing green spaces, neighborhood cleanups, better bike systems, and more. We are also part of an effort to bring a splash pad to the area.
